(Haifa – 17 June 2009) – Adalah invites you to a press conference at which two main issues concerning Palestinian refugee property will be discussed:

1) Adalah will reveal recent plans by Israel to permanently confiscate Palestinian refugee property by selling it to the private sector, contrary to Israeli and international law;

2) Adalah will present its new interactive map and database - the first of its kind – which provides detailed information on land confiscation since the establishment of the State of Israel, as well as an assessment of the value of the refugee properties that are now under Israel's control.

These matters are of particular relevance given the recent political developments, as well as intensified efforts by Israel to create facts on the ground concerning the main issues relating the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
