Commission Staff

All Adalah staff members devote part of their time to our work before the Official Commission of Inquiry into the October 2000 events. In addition, three private lawyers work with Adalah and the High Follow-up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel as members of the legal team leading the on-going representation before the Commission. They are:

Riad Anes, Advocate. Received L.L.B. from Tel Aviv University. Head of private law office in Umm al-Fahem with twenty years of experience in criminal law and in representing Palestinians from the Occupied Territories in the Israeli military courts. Investigated the files of Jatt and Umm al-Fahem.

Azmie Odeh, Advocate. Received L.L.B. from Tel Aviv University. Head of a general practice private law office in Nazareth. Investigated the files of Nazareth and Kufr Kanna.

Mahmoud Shaheen, Advocate. Received L.L.B. from Tel Aviv University. Head of private law office based in Sakhnin and Haifa, which handles civil and criminal law cases. Investigated the files of Sakhnin and Arrabe.
