October 2010 marks 10 years since the brutal killings of 13 unarmed Palestinian citizens of Israel and the injury of hundreds of others by the Israeli police and security forces during protest demonstrations throughout Israel. After 10 years of legal, social and political struggle there has still been no implementation of the Or Commission of Inquiry's recommendations and no accountability for those responsible for the killings and injuries. Adalah, together with its partners, is holding a series of events and publishing a report and other materials to commemorate the events of October 2000 and to demand an end to the impunity.
