On 7 September 2022, Adalah sent a follow-up letter demanding the immediate cancellation of tenders for the allocation and marketing of new military neighborhoods exclusively for Israeli military personnel in the towns of Nof Hagalil, Karmiel, Kfar Vradim and Safad. In February 2021, Adalah sent a letter to Israel’s attorney general, finance minister, defense minister, the Israel Land Authority, and the military’s housing authority demanding the cancellation of a discriminatory nationwide housing development project offering discounted homes exclusively to a group of career military personnel selected by the army in what amounts to state-sponsored residential segregation.
