19 Israel-based human rights organizations strongly condemn Israel’s decision to deregister international humanitarian NGOs in the occupied Palestinian territory.
At a time of extreme need in Gaza and the West Bank, this move blocks life-saving aid, violates humanitarian principles, endangers staff and civilians, and undermines Israel’s legal obligations as an occupying power. We call on the Government of Israel to immediately halt deregistration proceedings.
