Resource Development Associate

Location: Haifa, Israel (office-based position) Position: 80%-Full-time

About Adalah and the Position

Adalah – The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel is a Palestinian Arab human rights organization and legal center based in Haifa.

We are seeking a Resource Development Associate with excellent research and writing skills to support proposal development, donor reporting, fundraising communications, and donor relations. The successful candidate will be able to communicate complex legal and human rights issues clearly and persuasively to donors and supporters in Israel and internationally.

Main Responsibilities

• ●  Write grant proposals, funding requests, and donor reports.
• ●  Map and research new donor opportunities, including foundations, institutional
• donors, and individual donor prospects.
• ●  Maintain donor relationships and produce fundraising communications, in
• English, Hebrew, and Arabic.
• ●  Track grants, reporting deadlines, donor commitments, individual donor follow-
• up, and fundraising information in Monday.com and donor databases.

Qualifications

• ●  BA or MA in related fields

• ●  Excellent writing and editing skills, especially in English.

• ●  Strong Hebrew and Arabic language skills.

• ●  3 years or more of experience or more in fundraising, grant writing, nonprofit

  communications, or a related field.

• ●  Knowledge of human rights issues and the legal and political realities affecting

  Palestinian citizens of Israel and Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian

  Territory (OPT).

• ●  Experience with donor databases, CRM systems, or fundraising tracking

  systems; familiarity with Monday.com is an advantage.
