Thousands of Palestinians participate in annual march of return commemorating Nakba Day

March went forward following Adalah's legal intervention after Israeli police initially refused to grant necessary permits to event organizers.

Thousands of Palestinians participated in the annual march of return commemorating Nakba Day, held this year on the lands of the destroyed village of Khubbeiza on Thursday, 9 May 2019.

The march was held after a legal follow-up by Adalah – The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel on behalf of march organizers Association for the Defense of the Rights of the Displaced after Israeli police initially refused to grant them the necessary permits.
